Minneapolis & St. Paul Minnesota Newborn Photographer | Cutie Pie Newborn Boy!

May 31, 2013

I love photographing newborn babies.  Hello–new baby smell? Everyone needs to  get some snuggles from a new baby every once in a while. They can’t run or give you the “why are you jumping around like an idiot” look. ( I will do anything for the perfect expression.  I might even have fallen over at my last family session…shhh…you didn’t see anything.)

Meet new baby Nils.  (Check out his mom and dad’s maternity session HERE) Cute as a button and just perfect from head to toe!  I CANNOT believe the hair on this little boy!  His daddy said that they decided to go with the surfer hair look.  Love it.  And he was SO GOOD!  Slept *mostly* through the whole session.  Newborn parents sometimes worry about this.  DON’T!  I have magic up my sleeve to help your little one sleep peacefully. You might even want to take a nap (which is totally allowed!)

LOVE this image.  His mama said that this was how he was born, right hand against his cheek.

He definitely was a kicker and loved to stretch his legs out!

Beautiful family!

Some of the most fun are detail shots when baby won’t drift off quite deep enough.  Baby toes…

Thanks for trusting me to capture your new family!! Can’t wait to see Nils and how he has grown at his 6 month baby session!
