Fine Art Portraits · An Artful Experience
from personalized styling to final wall displays
Fine Art Portrait Photography in Minneapolis–St. Paul
What we offer is not just a photoshoot. It’s a guided experience that becomes a work of art.
For clients with an idea, story, or creative spark they want help bringing to life.
These portraits blend imagination, styling, and visual storytelling into striking, one-of-a-kind artwork.
Creative & Editorial Fine Art Portraits
For families who want more than “nice pictures.”
This work transforms family and pet portraits into cohesive, artful pieces meant to live on your walls, not disappear into phones.
Fine Art Family & Pet Portraits
For individuals who want to be seen with depth and intention.
These portraits often begin as boudoir, maternity, or personal sessions, and are shaped into painterly, editorial artwork designed for the home.
Fine Art Portraits for Individuals
Portrait Experiences as Fine Art
Most clients don’t come in knowing what’s possible.
They may start with family photos, maternity portraits, boudoir, pet portraits, or a creative idea they can’t quite put into words. What they often don’t realize is that they can be photographed as stunning, painterly artwork like a Renaissance painting or an editorial portrait worthy of a magazine spread.
My role is to guide that vision into fine art portraiture.
The work is thoughtfully styled, creatively directed, and finished as artwork designed to live in your home.
This isn’t about performing in front of the camera.
It’s about creating artwork that reflects who you are, beautifully and honestly.

Let's have fun and
Let us create breathtaking art that reflects who you truly are.
Your story deserves to be told with artistry, beauty, and confidence.
Creative portrait sessions are designed for clients who want more than standard portraits.
This work allows for a deeper level of creative direction, styling, and visual storytelling. Sessions may include custom wardrobe styling, thoughtfully designed sets, dramatic lighting, or location based concepts, depending on the vision.
Every creative decision is made to support the final artwork, not to check a box.
Because of this, creative sessions are more involved by design. Time is spent developing the look, guiding expression and movement, and shaping the final images into cohesive, high impact artwork. The result is not a single good photo, but a body of work that feels intentional, painterly, and editorial in nature.
These sessions are ideal for clients who want portraits that feel cinematic, expressive, and unlike anything else, and who value the level of care required to create them.
For those who dream beyond the everyday, our creative sessions turn your imagination into breathtaking art.

Kick off the conversation
It starts with a conversation.
Whether we connect by phone or video, this is where we talk through what you’re drawn to, how you want to be photographed, and what you’re hoping to create. You do not need a finished plan. I’ll help guide the vision and shape the experience from here.

In-Home Wardrobe & Wall Art Consultation
Before your session, I’ll meet you in your home to plan the details together.
We’ll walk through wardrobe options, styling ideas, and how the finished artwork could live in your space. This is where everything starts to come together visually, and where decisions feel easier because you’re not guessing.
We’ll also talk through wall art and album options so your portraits are created with the end result in mind.
