Creative portrait sessions are designed for clients who want more than standard portraits.
This work allows for a deeper level of creative direction, styling, and visual storytelling. Sessions may include custom wardrobe styling, thoughtfully designed sets, dramatic lighting, or location based concepts, depending on the vision.
Every creative decision is made to support the final artwork, not to check a box.
Because of this, creative sessions are more involved by design. Time is spent developing the look, guiding expression and movement, and shaping the final images into cohesive, high impact artwork. The result is not a single good photo, but a body of work that feels intentional, painterly, and editorial in nature.
These sessions are ideal for clients who want portraits that feel cinematic, expressive, and unlike anything else, and who value the level of care required to create them.

Fine Art Portrait Sessions
Fine art portrait sessions are designed for clients who want more than a standard photography appointment. These sessions are fully guided and intentionally paced, with the final artwork in mind from the beginning.
Sessions may take place in the studio or on location throughout the Minneapolis–St. Paul area, depending on the vision for your portraits. Professional hair and makeup are included, and wardrobe guidance is provided so the finished images feel cohesive, elevated, and timeless.
Most clients choose wall art, albums, or curated portrait collections designed specifically for their home, with a typical investment ranging from $1,000 to $8,000+ display choices.
Session fees begin at $500 and include photographing time, creative direction, professional hair and makeup, and planning support.
A product deposit is required and is applied toward your final artwork or collection selection.

Whether we connect by phone or video, this is where we talk through what you’re drawn to, how you want to be photographed, and what you’re hoping to create. You do not need a finished plan. I’ll help guide the vision and shape the experience from here.
IN Home Planning Session
Before your session, I’ll meet you in your home to plan the details together.
We’ll walk through wardrobe options, styling ideas, and how the finished artwork could live in your space. This is where everything starts to come together visually, and where decisions feel easier because you’re not guessing.
We’ll also talk through wall art and album options so your portraits are created with the end result in mind.
The Photoshoot
On the day of your session, everything is already taken care of.
Locations, lighting, styling, and pacing are all planned so you can focus on being present. I’ll guide you throughout the session, from how to stand and move to subtle expression and connection.
You don’t need to perform or know what to do.
Just relax, trust the process, and let go.

Viewing & Design Appointment
After your session, we’ll meet to view your portraits and design your finished artwork.
You’ll see your images fully polished and placed digitally on your walls so you can visualize exactly how everything will look before making any decisions. Together, we’ll design wall art or albums that feel cohesive, intentional, and meant for your home.
This is where everything comes together.
