Yeah, I know. What am I doing on New Years eve? Blogging. LAME.
BUT – here’s my excuse. My husband works in theatre and has a show tonight so he’s not going to be home until later anyway. The lives of artists. I know many of you understand. School/work, rehearsal/performance, homework, bedtime… rinse and repeat. But isn’t it amazing?
He and I try to work the same hours so we actually get to see each other. I’m usually the one who fails. He gets up early to go work out before work… I … get up. And snuggle the puppy…and work (mayyybe in my pajamas and mayybee in bed with a cup of coffee). But it works.
Speaking of theatre people – meet gorgeous miss Sarah from Chaska Highschool! #soarhawks I first met Sarah when I photographed her High School’s theatre production.
She decided that since she wanted a beautiful, outdoor setting that her grandparent’s farm would be the PERFECT backdrop for her senior pictures. She wanted fun unique images that showed off her creativity, style (which she had a TON of) and personality. She plays guitar and saxaphone as well so it was super important to get those in (in a non cheesy way)! I KNOW you know what I mean.
Sigh. I adore her grandparent’s gorgeous barn. The light was so amazing! Nothing better on a hot July evening…
And of course her guitar. Multi-talented? Check.
Her sister and I were having too much fun peeking at the pictures on the back of my camera and picking out her album cover!
Gasp.
I think these might be my favorite of the entire night! Sarah got that amazing hat while traveling in Europe with her band so of course we had to incorporate it. I think she more than pulled it off!!
I think we found a little bit of her family’s wonderland in these images. I would like to bottle the light, this girl and the amazing farm and keep it forever.
We will be in touch in 1 or 2 business days!
