AHHH! IT’S FALL!! Ok, now I’m done.  That will be the last comment I make on the weather…today. In the meantime – can I tell you something fun?  I got to spend the past weekend in New Jersey and New York. And NOT FOR WORK!  As a birthday gift, my sister (who lives in New Jersey) got us tickets to see Hedwig and the Angry Inch on Broadway.  SWOOOON…..

We did miss Neil Patrick Harris in the lead role (which I later learned was because he MARRIED HIS HUSBAND THAT WEEKEND IN ITALY!).  I think that’s a valid excuse.

Suffice to say we had a blast and the show was INCREDIBLE. #nbd Ok- I’m done geeking out for the moment.

As it seems to be a day of reigning myself in – I might as well move on to the gorgeous and talented and amazingly beautiful High School Senior from De La Salle Highschool in Minneapolis, Lillie.  Not only is she gorgeous – but she cracks me up.  PLUS – She’s a super talented student photographer. I met Lillie when I photographed her high school’s production of Romeo and Juliet and was so excited to photograph her senior pictures.

I actually wish I had behind the scenes video from this one…. I often tell my seniors that while the locations look dubious or sometimes downright nasty in person – they photograph BEAUTIFULLY!!

Case in point – the ivy image below.  What you would never know is that Lillie is standing in a nasty little corner full of bugs, ivy, muck mud and spiders.  And in between shots she’s screeching and laughing…but SO WORTH IT!

  She and I also share a mutual love of coffee…. YUM…. OH, and to add on to all of the awesome…She’s also a crazy talented Irish Dancer.  I offered to bribe her into wearing her bouncy wig for her Irish Dance images….but no…alas…no amount of money would make that happen.  BOO!
