“It was a rainy summer’s eve.  There was a continuous drizzle that refused to give way to the timid sun, threatening to hold on until dusk. A girl.  The most amazing girl.  A girl with raven hair and singing voice as large as the trees floated over the mossy ground….her peacock dress fluttering behind her…”

Sigh.  Can I go back?

Emily brought this AMAZING dress to her booking consult and I have to tell you – I knew EXACTLY where we would be photographing instantaneously.  This girl is a wonder gorgeous (of course) but so much talent.  Emily is applying to conservatories to study opera in college.  We made sure to do a few headshots in my studio before popping out to the most amazing location.

You know – as weird as it seems – foggy, rainy weather makes the most AMAZING images.  The sky held it’s full downpour for us this evening and I’m so glad.  As the fog rolled in toward evening – I knew we had created magic.
